Privacy Policy

This policy applies to XaltraX services, including the OAuth application named XaltraX Publisher.

Effective date: July 23, 2026  ·  Last updated: July 23, 2026

1. Who we are and the application's purpose

XaltraX operates XaltraX Publisher, a YouTube video publishing and channel analytics application. XaltraX Publisher helps authorized creators upload videos to their own YouTube channels, confirm channel and video information, and view YouTube Analytics reports after granting access through Google OAuth. Learn more on the XaltraX Publisher information page.

2. Information we collect

Depending on the features an authorized user chooses, we may process:

  • Information submitted directly, such as name, email address, company details, support requests, and communications.
  • Google OAuth authorization information, including access and refresh tokens and the scopes the user approves. We do not receive or store the user's Google password.
  • YouTube account, channel, and video metadata needed to identify the authorized channel and manage user-requested uploads.
  • Video files and publishing metadata that the user selects, including title, description, tags, privacy status, and scheduling information.
  • YouTube Analytics data requested by the user, such as views, watch time, engagement, traffic-source, device, and geographic reports, subject to YouTube's availability and privacy thresholds.
  • Basic technical and usage information needed for security, diagnostics, and reliable operation.

3. How we use Google and YouTube data

XaltraX Publisher uses authorized Google and YouTube data only to:

  • Connect the YouTube channel selected by the authorized user.
  • Upload videos and set metadata when the authorized user instructs the application to do so.
  • Confirm channel identity, video status, and publishing results.
  • Retrieve and display YouTube Analytics reports requested by the authorized user.
  • Maintain security, prevent abuse, troubleshoot failures, and provide support.

We do not use Google user data for targeted advertising, sell it, or use it to build advertising profiles. We do not publish a video without an authorized user's instruction.

4. Google API Limited Use disclosure

XaltraX Publisher's use and transfer to any other application of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

5. Sharing and disclosure

We do not sell, rent, or trade personal information or Google user data. We may share information with service providers that process data on our behalf only as necessary to host, secure, maintain, or support the application; when the user directs us to do so; when required by law; or to protect users, XaltraX, and the public. Service providers are required to protect the information and use it only for the contracted purpose.

6. Data security

We use HTTPS for authorization and API communications and apply access controls, least-privilege practices, and reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards to protect credentials and user data. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Retention and deletion

We retain OAuth credentials only while needed to keep an authorized connection active or provide the requested service. Publishing records, diagnostic records, and cached analytics are retained only as long as reasonably necessary for the application, security, support, or legal obligations. When information is no longer needed, we delete or de-identify it.

Users may request deletion of their XaltraX Publisher account data by emailing roshankumar.singh15@gmail.com. We process verified deletion requests within 30 days unless retention is required by law.

8. Revoking Google access

Users can revoke XaltraX Publisher's access at any time from the Google Account connections page. Revocation prevents future API access but does not automatically delete information already retained for the purposes described above; users may separately request deletion.

9. Your choices and rights

Subject to applicable law, users may request access to, correction of, or deletion of their personal information. Users may also decline OAuth consent or revoke previously granted consent. Some XaltraX Publisher features will not function without the permissions required for those features.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the application or legal requirements change. We will post the updated policy here and revise the “Last updated” date.
